This quotation takes you through all the things that go through the mind of an anorexic teen. It helps you understand how out of control your body really can get. Anorexia isn't just affecting you physically it has a huge impact on you emotionally as well. This quote also is an example of how your life would be if you choose to be hungry rather then happy and healthy.
Tracey Gold who is the author of this quote is a well known actress who was in a show called 'Growing Pains'. I resently discovered she battled anerexia and is still to this day recovering. Which makes me the quote even more powerful to me. It relates to my topic because it reflects very well on the side 'choosing to be hungry' by taking you through the mind of an anerexic person...
